Metal Monday #1: Metal Recommendations To Start Your Week Right

Hey, ya’ll. Here is a new idea to try and fill out some posts for this month. Every Monday I will provide two to four different metal track recommendations to spur your week. I have always wanted to be a radio host, but this will have to do.

  1. First track is a strange occult doom sludge combination from Hulk Smash. Something about this song makes it feel like the “deer family” in their backyard isn’t actually what they appear to be.

2. If you want to listen to what The Horned King from The Black Cauldron probably jams to you’d like ‘Keepeater’ by Iron Firmament.

3. Done eating the righteous Sunday Slop? Enjoy some “anti-gospel” from my good friend Jessica Kelly from her new EP ‘Unspeakable’. Also, who did the album art?? Looks rad as hell! (Shameless self promotion.)

4. And finally for this Monday recuperate to a reverberating cover of a classic The Smiths song. The demanding vocals and brain numbing guitar is perfect for forgetting what happened at work today. Because you’re human, and you need to be loved, just like everyone else does.

Rock on!
